Our Story

Years ago, I was sitting in the backyard of my childhood home talking with my dad. I was telling him about this strange rash I somehow started to develop on the palms of my hands. I was desperate to find an answer as to what it was and how to get rid of it. Afterall winters end was just around the corner.. along with my excuse for winter gloves!
I grew up watching my dad garden. He always had something going on out there. My mom would bring fruits and vegetables in by the bushel for harvesting and cooking. I remember my dad picking leaves of kale and just chomping away as he worked. It was his thing.
So I guess it should have come with no surprise that his response to my palm rash was a simple “go put your hands in the garden, there’s nothing that stuff won’t cure”. I remember thinking about all of the conventional ointments and toxic creams I had tried in the previous months that wouldn’t work. Could what possibly be the cure be right here in his garden?
Over the years my passion and knowledge for gardening has grown and become one of my biggest hobbies (aside from my two super amazing kiddos!). It was this passion that inspired me to grow my own botanicals in Powhatan, Virginia and start Per Spa, a botanical inspired organic body care line.

Your skin is the largest living, breathing organ on your body. Up to 60% of what you apply on your skin gets absorbed into your bloodstream, which then gets circulated around your whole body. That is why we have made it our mission to formulate an all organic skincare line that will help heal and provide nourishment to your skin without all of the toxins. Clean products for clean living. Never second guess what is in your skincare.

"Our main goal is to merge the idea of natural, organic skincare products with high pharmaceutical standards by using natures own pure ingredients". - Heather, Per Spa Founder
